ANTIQUE IRON FENCE RAIL TOP WITH WILD BIRD EGG AND FALL LEAF
Here is the next painting in my still life series. It's a size 6x8 canvas and it definitely looks better if seen in person. The subject is a rusty old iron fence rail top I purchased at an antique shop because I thought it looked interesting. I put it with a hatched out egg I found in my back yard along with a small leaf; viola - a still model. Not terribly exciting to me, but nonetheless good practice. Not sure how I feel about this one either; normal, normal, normal. Nothing to slap go-go boots on here ;-) or even create an interesting effect with. I like the egg though.
